Day 1 – Brachial Plexus and Cervical Nerves
Day 1 aims to provide specialists with a comprehensive understanding of peripheral nerve ultrasound anatomy. The focus will be on scanning techniques and pathology related to the brachial plexus and cervical nerves, with a live demonstration to enhance comprehension. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge through practical scanning techniques performed on live volunteers. This workshop is designed to solidify the participants’ grasp of the subject matter, covering everything from fundamental principles to cutting-edge applications.
Day 2 – Upper Limb Peripheral Nerves
On day 2, specialists will engage in an in-depth examination of the peripheral nerves in the upper limb, focusing on the nerve anatomy of key areas such as the shoulder and thoracic outlet, wrist, hand, and fingers. The session will encompass comprehensive discussions on scanning techniques and pathology, accompanied by live demonstrations for each specific area. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and enhance their skills through practical scanning techniques performed on live volunteers, facilitating hands-on learning. Additionally, interactive group case-based discussions will further solidify the participants’ understanding of the subject matter, covering everything from fundamental principles to the most advanced applications.
Day 3 – Lower Limb Peripheral Nerves
Day 3 is dedicated to the comprehensive evaluation of the peripheral nerves in the lower limb, encompassing the nerve anatomy of critical regions such as the pelvis, hip, thigh, knee, leg, ankle, and foot. The session will extensively cover scanning techniques and pathology, accentuated by live demonstrations in each of these areas. Attendees will actively engage in practical scanning techniques performed on live volunteers, facilitating hands-on learning. Moreover, interactive group case-based discussions will further strengthen participants’ knowledge and expertise, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter from fundamental concepts to advanced applications. Finally, an overview of muscle abnormalities in the Lower Limb will also be included for comprehensive coverage.
